Pinch me, am I dreaming? No? Noer The Boy dropped a fresh EP and it’s out on Deep, Dark, and Dangerous?!
From the rip, you know that this’ll be a big EP – but that intro track Kushan Strike is a wild journey through detuned synth-land before smacking you upside the head and reminding you to buckle up for the ride. This EP might’ve just dropped – but I could see this being a Halloween staple this year, as well.
No Name Dub is another standout, a track begging to be doubled with vocals of your choice – before tucking the acapella back under this behemoth beat.
Big ups, NtB!!
From the label:
Featuring four tunes as rabid as rabies infested stray dogs on acid, this EP has bite, bile and a whole lot of fuck you attitude you come to expect with Noer’s productions.
Ranging from Kushan Strike’s savage synths, to the relentless energy of And Again – featuring the legendary Foreign Beggars MC, PAV4N – to the quirky off kilter intensity of single No Name Dub – the EP is a tour de force of bass weight and percussion that will slap you senseless.
Title track Off Leash offers a more abstract perspective to close things – with its moody sub low, uncomfortable atmospheres and oppressive sound designs leaving you feeling disorientated as you lay on the floor after the attack of the first three tunes.
‘Off Leash’ proves Noer’s not playing by conventional rules – he’s on the loose and unleashed these tunes to run wild in the rave, attacking any system in sight.
EP release date:16 January 2026
